Project Description
A TJAF grant funded the first installation of Public Art for Pollinators and People, a unique “pollinator hotel” sculpture at Dix Park in Raleigh. The sculpture trio features holographic paint that ignites with direct sunlight to change color; within are a variety of sizes of tubing to house pollinators including moths, a variety of bee species, and butterflies. There is also educational signage at the site promoting public art, parks, and pollinator support. CAM Raleigh was a 2020 grant recipient.
