Project Description

A TJAF grant allowed the NC Museum of Art to remove invasive plant species in a 20-acre wooded area of the museum’s public park in Raleigh, a local destination for trails and outdoor artwork. At the project’s completion, clearer sight lines through the trees created new vistas along the woodland trail; and native trees and plants were planted to restore and conserve a healthy forest habitat. The NC Museum of Art Foundation was a 2018 grant recipient.
