A TJAF grant helped integrate art into Learning Together’s daily curriculum. The developmental day center in Raleigh offers critical programs for young children with and without developmental delays and/or disabilities and their families. The nonprofit brightened a hallway with a mural by children’s book illustrator, muralist, fine arts painter, and designer Mayanthi Jayawardena. Students were part of the project’s planning and installation. Learning Together was a 2022 grant recipient.
