A TJAF grant allowed Lands and Waters South to design and install a living laboratory for elementary school education. The Seawell Elementary “Living Classroom” solved a flooding problem that had plagued the Carrboro school for many years, sending polluted runoff into classrooms and impacting the building’s foundation. Lands and Waters South was a 2014 grant recipient.
