A TJAF grant supported the Gregg Tree Project, a creative public art installation combining conservation and art. The functional bench was fabricated from a 70-year-old oak log felled during the construction of the new and expanded Gregg Museum of Art & Design at N.C. State. VAE was the fiscal home of the project and was a 2017 grant recipient.
