A TJAF grant allowed the Elkin Valley Trails Association to plant a wildflower meadow and complete a public trail along Elkin Creek. The grant provided funds to plant a 1.3-acre meadow with native wildflowers and grasses to benefit wildlife, as well as complete the Streamside Loop Trail (along with the help of many volunteers). The Elkin Valley Trails Association was a 2014 grant recipient.
